抜歯前処置としてEmbosphere®を用いた塞栓術が有効であった歯肉血管腫の1例

Effective occlusion with Embosphere® before extraction in gingival hemangioma

血管腫hemangiomaは異常に発達した血管塊であり，歯肉に生じたものは易出血性であることが知られている。多くの側副血行路が発達しており多量の出血をきたすため，歯科治療の際に出血コントロールが困難となることがあり塞栓術が施行される。今回我々はEmbosphere^®を用いた塞栓術で抜歯の際の出血をコントロールした1例を経験したので報告する。

Hemangiomas may occur in gingival area and induce massive hemorrhage. 53 years old female had hemangiomas at left upper jaw, buccal mucosa and cheek. She had a fracture tooth in hemangioma area, so must be done the extraction. We had embolized the hemangioma’s feeder with Embosphere^® and a few coils before tooth extraction and succeeded to control hemorrhage without periprocedural complications.
