Five-years-old boy was referred to our hospital for examination and treatment of intractable ulcer on his knee with fever of unknown origin(FUO). 18F FDG-PET images showed increased 18F FDG uptake in his knee, ascending aorta and aortic arch. Furthermore, contrast enhancement CT images revealed thickening and increasing of enhancement in his aortic wall. After these examinations were performed, he was diagnosed pyoderma gangrenosum with Takayasu’s arteritis. 18F FDG-PET was useful for diagnosis of Takayasu’s arteritis with FUO.
