本研究は，膝蓋大腿関節症（PFOA）に対する膝蓋大腿関節置換術（PFA）の術後中期成績を検討した。術後4年以上追跡可能な5例（平均年齢56.4歳）であり膝蓋不安定性を合併している症例にはElmslie-Trillat法（ET法）またはmedial patellofemoral ligament再建（MPFL再建）を併用した。最終診察時の臨床成績（JOA score，KOOS，Kujala score）は良好であり，PFAはPFOAや膝蓋骨不安定症を合併する症例に有用と考えられた。
