生活介護事業所の役割に対して作業療法士への職業認識と求められる役割

Recognition of and expected roles for an occupational therapist in a life nursing care facility

要旨：当法人における生活介護事業の役割を明らかにし，生活介護事業における作業療法士（以下，OT）の職業認識と求められる役割について把握することを目的として，サービス管理責任者2名を対象にインタビュー調査を行った．修正版グラウンデッド・セオリー・アプローチを用いたデータ分析の結果，14の概念が生成され，生活介護事業所の実情・役割・課題，作業療法の現状，OTのイメージや要望の6つのカテゴリーに分類された．職員との積極的な連携や知識・技術の伝達を求めていることが明らかとなり，事業所内での優先事項の確認や具体的な取り組みの提案につながり，作業療法の質や多職種連携を高めるための行動指針を得る機会となった．

To clarify the role of life nursing care facilities in our corporation and to understand how the occupational therapist is recognized and required to play a role in life nursing care, an interview was conducted with two service managers. As a result of data analysis using the modified grounded theory approach, fourteen concepts were produced. These concepts were classified into six categories: actual conditions, roles, issues of life nursing care facilities, the current state of occupational therapy, and the image and demands for the occupational therapist. It became clear that occupational therapists wanted active collaboration with staff and transfer of knowledge and skills, which would actually lead to the confirmation of priorities in the facilities and the proposals for specific initiatives. These were opportunities to obtain action guidelines to improve the quality of occupational therapy and multidisciplinary collaboration.
