地域在住高齢者を対象とした特定高齢者の候補群と非候補群の興味の比較について

Comparing interests between two groups of community-dwelling elderly individuals using the basic checklist for prevention of deterioration of health

要旨：地域在住高齢者269名を男女で分け，特定高齢者の候補群と非候補群という2群の興味を比較した．その結果，2群の興味に有意な相関が認められたのは，うつ予防の候補では女性の「園芸・野菜づくり」と「知人を訪問」，男性の「ペットや家畜」で，認知症予防の候補では男性の「収集」であった．女性について，うつ予防の候補者は「園芸・野菜づくり」や「知人を訪問」に興味を示さないこと，そして実際に友人を訪ねることと「知人を訪問」への興味には関係があることが示された．男性について，うつ予防の候補者は「ペットや家畜」に興味を示さないことと，認知症予防の候補者は「収集」に興味を示さないことが示された．

　The purpose of this study was to compare the interests between high risk and low risk elderly. The participants were 269 elderly individuals in a community. The two groups were divided based on the criteria of the Basic checklist for Prevention of Deterioration of Health Status (BPD). The items which showed meaningful associations with Cramer's coefficient between the interests from the two groups were GARDENING/GROWING VEGETABLES and VISITING ACQUAINTANCES in the depression category among women, PETS AND ANIMALS in the depression category and COLLECTION in the dementia category among men. The following three insights were obtained: 1) the high risk women showed no interest toward GARDENING/GROWING VEGETABLES and VISITING ACQUAINTANCES in the depression category, 2) visiting friends related to the interest towards VISITING ACQUAINTANCES for women and 3) the high risk men showed no interest toward PETS AND ANIMALS in the depression category and COLLECTION in the dementia category.
