当院における痴呆性高齢者に対する集団レクリエーションの1年間の軌跡

One-year progress about group recreation program involving elderly people with dementia

要旨：本報告は当院における痴呆性高齢者に対する集団レクプログラムを変更し，変更後1年間の経過から隊形の重要性と，身体機能へのアプローチの効用と限界について考察したものである．集団レクの隊形はU字形，円形，四角形にした．U字形ではゲームを中央で行い，他者から注目される場面を作り出した．円形では参加者を15名程度にしたため，共有性を引き出せた．四角形では痴呆症状が重度化した参加者に対し1対1で関わった結果，表情や発語などの反応を引き出せた．身体機能にもアプローチしたが，集団レク場面で引き出した身体能力をADLに結びつけることはできなかった．今後の課題には病棟との連携が挙げられた．

　This research considers of the following process :

　The author will discuss the importance of formation and effect and/or limitation of approaches for body functions in the case of a group recreation program involving elderly people with dementia in the hospital. The formation of group recreation included U character, circular and square formation. In U character formation, participants performed games in the center of the recreation room. This scenesetting is meant to be observed by the other patients.

　In circular formation, staff limited the number of participants to fifteen, and then elicited communality. On the other hand, in square formation, the author was concerned with face-to-face activity and communication with the participants who had severe dementia, and managed to pull out, from participants, rich expressions and oral communication. In spite of our efforts to approach and improve participants' body function, we found it much more difficult to elicit physical ability in a grouprecreation situation, at least with regard to ADL improvements.

　Our next task will involve cooperation with a ward staff.
