院内の転倒・骨折に対する転倒/転落防止対策チームの取り組み報告—転倒・転落の予防のための7つの視点を中心に

Preventing Falls and Fractures in Kochi Medical School Hospital's General Ward

はじめに

　入院患者の転倒・転落は，外傷や骨折を引き起こし，患者の日常生活動作/生活の質（ADL/QOL）に大きな影響を及ぼす．そのため各医療機関において，種々の取り組みがなされている．当院でも転倒/転落防止対策チームは，2006年9月に転倒/転落に関する危機管理を担うチームとして，病院長直属の部隊として発足した．

　今回，その取り組みと成果について報告する．

Abstract : We were able to extract seven predictive factors from a total of 64 factors which have some connection with predicting falls and fractures in Kochi Medical School Hospital's general ward. The size of the ROC curve for these seven factors is almost the same as the 64 factors' ROC curve. Their identification will further our efforts to solve nursing affairs related problems. Our intervention to decrease the incidence of falls and fractures led to a decrease in the number of fractures in 2009, and to a decrease in the number of falls in 2012. However, since the decrease in the number of fractures and falls did not always correspond, we may have to consider a counter plan to prevent falls and fractures independently.
