はじめに
腰椎，胸腰椎の変性に伴う腰部脊柱管狭窄症や脊柱変形では，歩行障害や異常姿勢を呈する．特に，腰部・胸腰部の脊柱変形による歩行変化や姿勢変化に関して，当科でこれまで行ってきた，歩行解析，脊椎・骨盤の筋活動評価，健康関連QOL調査の研究を通じて得たいくつかの重要な知見を踏まえて，これらの疾患に対する診察方法について記述する．
