胸腔鏡下前縦隔囊胞摘出を目的としたS.A.N.D.バルーンカテーテル使用上の工夫

Thoracoscopic surgery for cystic mediastinal tumor using the S.A.N.D balloon

◆要旨：前縦隔の囊胞性腫瘍の場合，組織の播種や遺残による再発の面から囊胞壁を損傷することなく完全切除することが非常に重要である．内視鏡器具の発達により，胸腔鏡下手術の適応疾患も拡大されつつある．今回，筆者らは婦人科内視鏡下卵巣囊腫摘出術に用いられているS.A.N.Dバルーンが囊胞性縦隔腫瘍摘出に有用であることを経験したので報告する．

　It is important to remove cystic mediastinal tumors completely without rupture, because incomplete resection might result in a recurrence of the tumor. The therapeutic role of thoracoscopy has expanded with advances in endoscopic surgical instruments. We present a modified technique for complete thoracoscopic resection of anterior cystic mediastinal tumor by the S.A.N.D balloon catheter. The approach of using this catheter allows for the complete and safe removal of cystic mediastinal tumor.
