Laparoscopic procedures for Meckel's Diverticulum and Other Vitelline Duct Anomalies

　症候性メッケル憩室の診断は必ずしも容易ではない．メッケル憩室が疑われたら診断的腹腔鏡を遅滞なく選択し，病変を確認したあとにポート数を増やして切除手技に移行するという方針が推奨される．病変部は容易に体腔外に引き出せるので，切除手技は必ずしも体腔内で行うことに固執する必要はないと思われる．

Meckel's diverticulum is one of the primary concerns in the differential diagnosis for patients with intestinal bleeding, intestinal obstruction, and abdominal pain. We believe that the laparoscopic approach in emergent setting is safe and effective for the diagnosis and treatment of symptomatic Meckel's diverticulum.
