脈波基線動搖と精神身体状態との相関について

　A．緒言

　「プレチスモグラフ」が末梢循環動態の研究に用いられているが，逆に末梢血管の状態から中枢性のNervo_hemodynamicsを研究する方法も，近来採用されている。正常人安静時に見られる基線の自然動揺に就ては，心臓性，呼吸性変動の他に，Burch^1）4）等の言うα波，β波，γ波の存在が知られているが，後三者の発生機転及びその生理学的意義は明らかでない。数学的^3），機械的処理法が試みられているが，複雑な波形パターンの成り立ちを説明するに充分でないと思われる。我々は正常人に見られる周期的自然動揺のパターンと，被験者の置かれた身体的，精神的状態との相関から，その発生中枢レベルを明らかにしようとした。

　A number of observations have been made on the sponteneous fluctuation in plethysmo-graphic records in human beings, which have so far been analysed only mathematically and classified into several groups without considering any physiological significance. This paper is concerned with some correlations found between these fluctuations and respective psychosomatic conditions. Vascular changes were recorded from both thumbs and both big toes by means of reflexion photoelectric plethysmograph through D. C. amplifier.
