  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

 1. Two groups of electrical potentials were obtained through a flexibly mounted ultramicroelectrode inserted into the albino rat's liver in vivo. The first group (40-80 mV) was thought to be derived from a liver cell and the second one (8-10mV) from sinusoids. The former was named L. C. P. and the latter L. S. P.

 2. L. S. P. was identified with the vessel membrane potential of V. portae and V. hepatica which have the communication with sinusoid.
