Abstract

Asymptomatic brain lesions, such as lacunar infarction, perivascular spaces, cerebral white matter lesions, and cerebral microbleeds, neck ultrasonography, magnetic resonance imaging, atrial fibrillation, dyslipidemia, and diabetes should be examined. Antihypertensive drugs, antiplatelet therapy, and statins and dietary and exercise guidance should be considered as treatments. Antiplatelet therapy may increase the risk of cerebral hemorrhage; therefore, caution should be exercised after considering its suitability in patients. The key is to explain the results of face-to-face examinations.
