本論では，脳・脊髄MRIの基本プロトコルおよび追加シーケンスを簡単に説明し，その実践的な読影ポイントを放射線科的視点から解説する。特に脳MRIについては，横断像だけでなく3方向を組み合わせたプロトコルとするのが望ましい。検査のオーダーにあたってどのシーケンスを追加撮像するかを考える際に，同時に，どのシーケンスは省略可能かも考えられるのが一流のオーダー医である。

Abstract

This article reviews standard brain and spinal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) protocols, including supplementary sequences, and outlines practical interpretation guidelines from a radiological perspective. For brain MRI, acquiring all orthogonal planes (axial, sagittal, and coronal) is preferable over reliance on axial images alone. Experienced clinicians should carefully select sequences to optimize scan time, diagnostic accuracy, and patient comfort by including necessary sequences while omitting non-essential sequences.
