Long-Term Stabilizing Effect of Angiotensin-converting Enzyme Inhibition on Plasma Creatinine and on Proteinuria in Normotensive Type Ⅱ Diabetic Patients

　■目的：微量アルブミン尿症とⅡ型糖尿を伴う患者の蛋白尿と腎機能の低下速度に対するアンギオテンシン変換酵素附害剤の長期効果を評価するため．

　■設計：無作為抽出，二重盲，偽薬管理を用いた実験．すべての患者で5年間の追跡を行った．

■ Objective : To evaluate the longterm effect of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibition on proteinuria and on the rate of decline in kidney function in patients with type Ⅱ diabetes mellitus and microalbuminuria.

　■ Design : Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial. Each patient was followed for 5 years.
