右耳下部腫脹を初発症状としたBurkitt型悪性リンパ腫の1例

Burkitt Type Lymphoma in the Parotid Area: Report of a Case

I．はじめに

　Burkitt，slymphoma（BL）は1958年Dcnis Burkitt^1）によってウガンダ地方の小児の顎骨に発生し特異的な臨床像を呈する悪性腫瘍として発表され，1960年0℃Ollorら^2）はこの腫瘍が悪性リンパ腫に属すると発表した。本邦ではOboshiら^3）による第1例の報告以来学会報告例を含めると90例余の報告がみられる。

　今回右耳下部腫脹を初発症状としたBurkitt型悪性リンパ腫の1例を経験したので症例を提示するとともに，本邦における臨床像の特徴につき文献的考察を加える。

　A case of Burkitt type lymphoma in a 7-year-old Japanese boy was reported. He was admitted to our hospital because of a swelling in the right parotid area. On examination, a large abdominal tumor was also found. Excision of the tumor in the parotid area was performed with preservation of the facial nerve. The histological examination of the tumor revealed lymphoid cells with starry sky appearance which was considered to be characteristics of Burkitt lymphoma. After excision, combined chemotherapy was performed, and the size of the abdominal tumor was remarkably reduced.

　Ninety-five cases of Burkitt lymphoma in Japanese literature were reviewed.
