Fisher's Syndrome: A Case Report

I．緒言

　Fisher症候群は外眼筋麻痺，運動失調，深部反射消失を三主徴とし，多くの症例で先行感染や髄液での蛋白細胞解離現象を認めることなどにより，Guillain-Barré症候群の一特殊型と考えられてきた。しかしながらその責任病巣は急性多発性根神経炎のみでは説明しがたい点が多く，現在その異同が問題となっている。

　今回われわれは本症例に対し経時的に神経耳科学的検査を行う機会を得たので，若干の考察を加えて報告する。

　A 25-year-old woman had been suffering from disturbed ocular movement and body ataxia. Neurotological examinations revealed almost total ophthalmoplegia, monocular horizontal nystagmus and inhibition of the visual suppression. Optokinetic nystagmus was also markedly inhibited. The patient was hospitalized for steroid hormone therapy. Ophthalmoplegia and ataxia were normalized as other symptoms ameliorated. Series of the test results indicated that tegmen pontis, MLF and vestibular cerebellum were possibly involved in this particular case of Fisher's syndrome.
