両側口蓋扁桃に転移した胃癌の1例

Metastatic Carcinoma of Bilateral Palatine Tonsils from the Stomach

　はじめに

　扁桃の悪性腫瘍は一側性のことが多く，両側同時に病変を認める場合は炎症性疾患が多い。私たちは両側扁桃に転移した胃癌症例を経験した。悪性腫瘍の扁桃転移自体が稀であるが，両側同程度に病変が広がることもあるので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 73-year-old man complained of foreign body sensation of the throat 6 months after surgery of carcinoma of the stomach. Bilateral tonsils showed a swelling without bleeding.

Biopsy revealed tonsillar metastasis from adeno-carcinoma of the stomachs. He died 3 months later because of bleeding from a metastatic tumor in cerebellum.
