喉頭癌に対する放射線治療が誘発したと考えられる頸部食道癌の1剖検例

A Case of Cervico-esophageal Cancer Probably Induced by Radiation for Cancer of the Larynx

I．緒言

　頭頸部領域における放射線誘発癌については，本邦でも塚本^1）らの下咽頭癌の4症例をはじめとして多くの報告がみられる。

　筆者らは喉頭癌治療のために2度にわたって頸部照射を受け，12年後にその照射野に発生した放射線誘発と考えられる頸部食道癌の症例を剖検する機会を得，臨床際と剖検所見とが異なった興味ある結果を得たので報告する。

　An autopsied case of cervico-esophageal cancer thought to be induced by postoperative irradiation for cancer of the larynx 16 years previously and by irradiation following radical neck dissection 12 years previously was reported.

　Histologically, the tumor was poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma probably originated in the esophagus and was revealed as being transmitted from one part of the normal epidermis.
