ミノサイクリンが著効したReiter病の1例

Reiter's Disease Treated with Minocycline Resulting in Temporary Effect: Report of Case

　I．はじめに

　Reiter病は，1916年Hans Reiter^1）により報告されて以来，欧米では多数の報告がみられるが，本邦においては稀な疾患である。筆者らは最近，嚥下痛，嚥下困難および高熱を主訴として耳鼻科を受診し，AB-PCおよびアミノグリコシドの大量投与にもかかわらず症状が増悪し，さらに膿尿や包皮・亀頭のびらん，潰瘍，関節炎，結膜炎も認められて，Reiter病の診断のもとに当院内科へ転科後，ミノサイクリンの投与にて短時日のうちに治癒した症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A 19-year-old male with Reiter's disease developed odynophagia and high fever. The patientpresented oral lesions accompanied with balanitis and conjunctivitis. He was treated with minocycline successfully, and no recurrence was seen. This is the first report of Reiter's disease in otolaryngologic field in this country. The purpose of thispaper is to draw the readers' attention to severe stomatitis, and to discuss the etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of Reiter's disease as related to the otolaryngologists.
