上咽頭多形腺腫症の1例

Pleomorphic Adenoma Originating from the Nasopharynx

　はじめに

　多形腺腫は大唾液腺のほか，口腔内の小唾液腺にもしばしば認められるが，上咽頭に発生することは少ない^1,2）。今回われわれは，上咽頭より発生した多形腺腫症例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 56-year-old male was admitted to our hospital for treatment of pleomorphic adenoma in the naso-pharynx. Fiberscopic examination showed a round-shaped mass, and CT and MR images demonstrated a round mass arising from the left upper wall of the nasopharynx. The tumor was removed surgi-cally using an endoscope through the combination of the transnasal and transoral approaches. The usefullness of endoscopic treatment of nasopharyn-geal tumor was discussed and the literature was reviewed.
