 Most of patients in terminal stage of head and neck tumor have offensive odor.

 It is very important to deodorize the offensive odor not only for patients but also for many people surrounding them. The offensive odor has recently been reported due to anaerobic infections.

 Both of metronidazole and clindamycin are chown to be effective against anaerobic bacteria.

 In four cases in terminal stage of head and neck tumors with offensive odor, the offensive odor was deodorized with metronidazole with clindamycin or metronidazole alone.
