貧血を誘因とする鼻中隔穿孔の1例

NASAL SEPTAL PERFORATION DUE TO ANEMIA, REPORT OF A CASE

　I．はじめに

　鼻中隔の穿孔は，周知のごとく耳鼻咽喉科の臨床においてしばしば遭遇するものであり，種々の原因で生じることが知られている。しかし，全身的状態にその原因ないしは誘因を認めたとする報告は少ない。

　筆者らは最近，貧血が誘因と考えられた鼻中隔穿孔の1例（43歳，男性）を経験したので，ここに報告し2,3の考按を行った。

　A nasal septal perforation in a 43-year-old man who had severe iron deficiency anemia is reported. With improvement of anemia, the progression of enlargement of the perforation was ceased. The authors conclude that anemia played a significant role for formation of the nasal septal perforation.
