下咽頭と甲状腺の重複癌症例

MULTIPLE CARCINOMA INVOLVING THE HYPOPHARYNX AND THYROID GLAND

　I．はじめに

　重複癌は1869年のBillrothの報告以後，数多くの症例が発表されてきた。また多数の症例を統計的に検討したり，発生機序について考按している論文も多く見られる。しかし，下咽頭癌と甲状腺癌の組合せはきわめて稀である。

　今回，われわれは下咽頭癌については術前に確診を得ていたが，甲状腺癌の存在には気付かず，術後の頸部リンパ節転移の組織検査により，初めて甲状腺癌との重複癌であることが判明した稀な症例を経験したので報告する。

　Multiple primary carcinomas of the hypopharynx and the thyroid gland in a woman, aged 33, is reported. Diagnosis of the hypopharyngeal cancer was made and the patient was operated. Pathological examination of the deep cervical lymph nodes revealed the cellular structure of metastatic follicular adenocarcinoma. In laryngeal. or hypopharyngeal carcinoma, we must be aware of the presence occult thyroid carcinoma.
