Jumbling現象について

JUMBLING PHENOMENON

　I．はじめに

　身体の運動にさいしてのみ，眼前のものが動揺してみえ，静止時にはみられない現象に対してはjumbling of objects，jumbling phenomenon，jumbling of the panorama，Dandy's symptome，体動によるoscillopsiaなどの用語が用いられている。この現象はまれである。わが国では今まで余り関心を持つていなかつたので報告例は少ない。われわれは肺結核兼気管支瘻，膿胸のため，やむなくKMとSMを多量に使用したところ，jumbling現象を伴つた著しい平衡障害をきたした1例を経験したので，その経過を報告するとともにjumbling現象について文献的考察を加えてみたい。

　For treatment of lung tubreculosis with other related thoracic involvements a man, aged 59 was given a total dosage of 123 grams of kanamycin and 24 grams of streptomycin. The patient soon developed difficult ambulation in the dark, jumbling of objects before the eyes, the loss of hearing in both ears and tinnitus aurium. The hearing loss ranged 3,000 to 8,000 Hz and proved to be perceptive deafness.
