I．はじめに

　近年，結核性中耳炎や耳性頭蓋内合併症の報告は，種々の抗結核剤や抗生物質の開発・普及などにより激減した、しかし一方では，最近その報告が少しずつ増加の傾向にあるともいわれている。今回，著者は神経症状に乏しく，CTにより頭蓋内合併症と判明した結核性中耳炎の1治験例を経験した。本症例のように，結核性中耳炎より硬膜外膿瘍を起こした症例がきわめて稀であるので，本症例の臨床事項を中心に若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Tuberculous otitis media with extradural abscess is extremely rare.

　The patient is a nine-year-old boy with complaints of the left painless otorrhea and remittent fever.

　CT indicated an otogenic intracranial complication, which was confirmed as an extradural abscess at operation.

　The histologic examination of the lesion revealed tuberculosis. Two years after the sufficient antituberculous therapy, the patient is doing well without any serious symptoms.

　The reports of 18 children with this disease were found in the literature, and the characteristics of the clinical features in children were discussed.
