頬部偽リンパ腫Pseudolymphomaの1例

PSEUDOLYMPHOMA IN THE BUCCAL REGION

　I．はじめに

　頬部腫脹を主訴として耳鼻咽喉科を訪れる患者は多い。それは同時に鼻症状を随伴することにもよる。多くは上顎洞あるいは上顎骨から発生した腫瘍や嚢腫である。しかし，稀に頬部軟部組織より発生した腫瘍のことがある。私どもは頬部腫脹を主訴とし皮下組織より発生したと推測される偽リンパ腫の1例を経験したので報告する。

　A case of pseudolymphoma in a 52 year-old woman, who complained of a stinging pain and progressive swelling of the right buccal region for the last 2 years, is reported.

　Upon clinical examination the tumor was suspected as a benign growth originating from the soft tissues in the buccal region. And the mass was surgically removed.

　Histopathological examination, however, revealed that the mass was composed of lymphoreticular cellular infiltrates with follicular architecture. There were no mitotic figures. It was diagnosed as lymphadenosis benigna cutis (Bäfverstedt).

　Clinical manifestations of the present case differ somewhat from those reported previously regarding the facial pain, thrombocytopenia, visual disturbance and atrophy of the facial bone due to lymphocytic infiltration.
