骨髄腫に伴つた舌アミロイド症

AMYLOIDOSIS OF THE TONGUE ASSOCIATED WITH MULTIPLE MYELOMA

　Ⅰ．緒言

　アミロイド症とは生理的には生体内に認め難いアミロイドという蛋白質性物質が一定の間質組織に沈着する疾患で，肝，脾，腎を好んで侵し，難治性であるが，未だその本態は明らかでない。

　本邦では稀な疾患であつたが，最近増加の傾向にあるといわれる^6）。耳鼻咽喉科領域での報告は少なく，孤立性に気管，喉頭^1）2）3）に発生した例が散見されるが，舌のアミロイド症は茂木^1）が報告した原発性の症例がみられるのみである。

　著者は舌にみられたアミロイド症例を経験し，これが多発性骨髄腫に併発したものであることを確認したので報告する。

　A 68 year old man complained of a mass on the lateral surface of the tongue. Laboratory examination of the patient showed an increase of serum γ-globulin and plasma cells of the bone marrow indicating a relationship with multiple myeloma.

　The tumor was resected and examined under, both, light and electronic microscopy which revealed amyloidosis.

　The patient was treated by means of melpharan and endoxan.
