Ten cases of salivary calculi are reported with following conclusions:
1. The largest number of calculi occurred in the submaxillary gland and duct; mostly among the middle-aged male.
2. The daignosis is based upon the history of repeated attacks, the state of the salivary glands and x-ray findings.
3. Microscopic findings of the salivary glands removed for calculi formation showed the evidence of having had repeated attacks.
