 One hundred and fourteen cases of ENT diseases among pregnant women are recorded in the 11 years of study at the Otolarngological Department of the Musashino Red Cross hospital. The total number of diliveries during the period numbered 29,887 cases; the mobidity was 0.36%.

 There were 36 cases of the ear, 59 cases of nasal and 13 cases of throat diseases with 6 cases of other involvements.

 The largest number was epistaxis, 38 cases.

 Generally, the patients were affected with allergic rhinitis during the first half of the pregnancy and with ozena in the later half. Epistaxis and tubotympanitis were seen throughout the period of pregnancy.

 The mobidity was highest during the initial 3 months, decreased during the midperiod and with an increase again in the later period of the pregnancy.
