聴性脳波反応判定の自動化—成人用auto-EEG-audiometerの試作とその成績

AN ATTEMPT OF PREPARATION OF AUTOMATICALLY EVALUATING APPARATUS ON EEG-AUDIO-METRY

　Ⅰ．緒言

　現在加算された聴性脳波反応の認識は，つぎのように行なわれている。すなわち，一定の波形をもち，かつほかの部分より大きな振幅をもつ波が一定の潜時で出現した場合，反応（＋）であるとされる。つまり人間による反応の判定は，波形と振幅と潜時によるものである。したがつて，波形，振幅，潜時に一定の基準を作れば，器械によつても人間と似た判定が可能となろう。むしろ現状では一定の基準がないため，人間の判定は無方向性の誤りをおかしたり，各施設間での結果が比較検討できないといつた難点がある。器械判定はこれらの欠点を補うものである。

　また現状での脳波聴力検査は，聴力損失値を正確に示すものではなく，おおよその聴力損失を指示するにすぎない。したがつて臨床上，医師や聴力検査士はその貴重な時間を判定に費やさず，むしろ患者との接触で多くの情報をつかむべきではなかろうか。以上の考えから，私たちは聴性脳波反応の自動判定器の開発を試みてきた。このほど試作品を完成したので，自動判定器の動作原理と成績を発表する次第である。

　An instrument to carry out the amplification, summation and evaluation of the response in a run during EEG-audiometry was developed. The purpose for the development of this apparatus was as follows, a) standardization of evaluation b) shortening of the test time and c) abolishing the need of "the skilled worker"for the evaluation. Concerning a), comparison of data obtained at different institutions is possible. As for b), speeding up of the test is expected, and on account of c), the tests are possibly done by paramedical workers.

　This instrument conducts filtration of EEG in zones, summation, extraction of EEG at the reactive and non-reactive part followed by rectification and integration, and the expression of the difference between these with voltage.

　The rate of agreement in the evaluation between this instrument and man was 80% upon 30 summations and 84% upon 40 summations. This instrument thus appears to stand practical use sufficiently. ( Author's abstract)
