　I．はじめに

　サルファ剤ならびに各種抗生剤の発見は，耳鼻咽喉科領域感染症に対する化学療法に著しい発展をもたらしたが，その反面，耐性菌の出現，増加，菌交代現象などによる細菌叢の変動を来たすことにもなつた。われわれは，1967年1月より1969年12月までの過去3年間に当教室外来を訪れた986名について採取した検体の培養，薬剤感受性検査を行ない，その結果を諸家の報告と合せて細菌叢の時代的変遷について考察してみた。

　Bacterial test was made in 792 cases of chronic suppurative otitis media during the period of 3 years, January 1967 to December 1969.

　Staphylococci were revealed in 70% of cases and gramnegative bacilli in 50% of them.

　In the field of otology the treatment of infections affected with staphylococci and gramnegative bacilli is becoming more and more difficult. And, the gramnegative types especiallyappears to be the most resistant ones.
