慢性中耳炎における細菌叢と藥剤感性について

　緒言

　1909年ウィーンにおいてGelmoにより合成せられたp-Aminophenylsulfonamidより出発して，1932年Mietzsch及びKlarerにより合成され1935年Domagkにより発表せられたProntosilを始めとして化学療法剤が続々登場して各種感染症に偉力を発揮した。一方1929年Flemingが発見したPenicillinは1940年になつてChain，Florey等により最初の報告が出され，その後Streptomycin等が次々と発表され抗生物質療法時代が出現した。

　しかし，近年になつて臨床医家が耐性菌の出現に注目しだした。我々も耳鼻咽喉科領域の細菌叢の薬剤感性について東京大学医学部附属病院中央検査部一般細菌検査室の検査結果をまとめ調査した。その中で慢性中耳炎耳漏中に見られた細菌叢とその感性検査についてここに記述した。

Bacterial test was made in 1,005 cases of chronic running ears during the period of 5 years. Gram negative streptoccocci were revealed in 50% of these case. The effectiveness of antibiotics against the infecting organism appeared to he in the following order : chlo-ramphenicol, dihydrostreptomycin, erythromycin, tetracycline, penicillin and sulfa-drugs.
