 Features of loss of hearing in 2 cases of multiple sclerosis a 53-year-old woman, and a 43-year-old man are studied.

 The first case showed a bilateral nerve deafness with audiograms similar to at both ears. There was no change in hearing loss within the five-year period of observation.

 The second case also showed a bilateral nerve deafness but with a dissimilar audiograms in the two ears and a progressive loss of hearing in both ears.

 Roth cases agreed in showing a temporary threshold drift (TTD) phenomenon.
