聴神経腫瘍の臨床的ならびに文献的考察（その2）—神経耳科学的検査所見について

A CLINICAL OBSERVATION AND REVIEW OF LITERATURE ON ACOUSTIC NEURINOMA

　Ⅰ．まえがき

　聴神経腫瘍は前回報告したごとく80％は内耳神経症状（多くは難聴，時に耳鳴，めまい）を初発症状とし，診断確定時には全例において何らかの蝸牛・前庭症状を呈する。そのため聴神経腫瘍，（acoustic, tumor，以下A．T．と略す）の診断には神経耳科学的検索が非常に重要であるといえる。

　今回は，神経耳科的な観点より，著者報告例（42例）を中心として検討を加え，さらに文献的考察を試みたのでここに報告する。

　A otoneurological observation and review of literature was made on acoustic neurinoma.

　From the diagnostic point of view, the otoneurological examinations are stressed to be highly important. Tested by pure-tone audiometry, impaired hearing was noted in 95% of the present cases.

　The author emphasizes that, for localizing and finding the extent of the tumor, nystagmus test and optokinetic pattern (OKP) test are both especially useful, while, the caloric (alcohol) test is important in making an early diagnosis.
