双生児多発を伴つた口蓋裂家系

A FAMILY OF CLEFT PALATE ASSOCIATED WITH BIRTHS OF MULTIPLE TWINS

　Ⅰ．緒言

　われわれの耳鼻咽喉科において日常扱う先天異常のうち，ことに問題になるのは，形態学的，機能的にも種々の障害を伴う兎唇口蓋裂であろう。今までにその成因については，諸氏の研究がなされ，遺伝学的検索に加え，最近ではまた動物実験でその発生原因が究明されつつある。遺伝についても多くの研究があるが，その発生形式は複雑で，いまだ明らかでない点が多く，かかる家系に考察を加えることに終つているのが常である。ここに報告する症例も最近われわれの教室へ遺伝相談に訪れた患者の家系について，兎唇口蓋裂の多発のみならず，双胎の多発をも伴つている遺伝学的に興味を持たれる症例であるので考察を加えてみたい。

　A family with multiple births of twins associated with the presence of hare-lip and cleft-palate is reported. It is considered that heredity plays a major role in the occurrence of both of these coditions but, whether or not, that these two are directly related to each other is not at all clear. However, there seem to be a tendency in which many twin births occurring in the family hereditarily affected with cleft-palates. The study showed that it might he possible the use anterior lobe hormone of the pituitary gland may have a role to play against the occurrence of both conditions, described above, aside from the hereditary factor.
