ヘルパンギーナについて

ON HERPANGINA

　Ⅰ．緒言

　口腔および咽頭に水泡または潰瘍を形成し，その症状が激烈であるヘルペス性口内炎，および日常外来で観察されるアフター性口内炎等は，われわれ耳鼻科医にとつて親しい疾患である。しかしながら，これらとまつたくよく似た臨床像を呈し，病因の異なるCoxsackie Virus A群感染症の1つでHerpanginaと称されるものがある。本症は1920年Zahorskyにより"herpetic sore throat"の名で初めて記載され，のちに1つの独立した疾患としてHerpanginaと命名された。最近，本症の流行的発生が，本邦に於ても各所に於て報告されているが，広島市に於ても1963年夏期にその流行がみられた。われわれは広島三菱病院耳鼻咽喉科外来に於て，その44例を経験したのでここにその大略を報告する。

　Authors experienced observing 44 cases of herpangina at the Otolarygological Department of the Hiroshima Mitsubishi Hospital in the summer of 1963.

　The causative organism was found to be coxsackie virus A for which the value of compliment fixation was greatly increased. Various aspects of this disease are noted and the method of treatment is discussed.
