近年社会機構の複雑化に伴い心因性疾患は増加の傾向にあり，耳科領域に於いてもこの種の疾患に接する機会が多くなつて来た。中でも心因性失声症は比較的良く知られているものの一つであるが，私は最近極めて興味ある発病起因と，治癒の動機を示した症例を経験したので，ここにその経過を簡単に報告し御参考に供する次第である。
The author reports a case of aphonia that was established after a dream in which the patient was falling off a cliff. On the 6th night after the loss of the voice the patient had an identically similar dream again falling off a cliff but, with which he regained his voice.
