  • Look Inside

A case of Plummer-Vinson's syndrome with marked symptoms of dysphasia, glossitis, hypochromic anemia, falling out of tooth, oral disturbances and hypooxemia is reported. The esophagus showed tremor accompanied by secondary and tertiary contractions but, otherwise, no pathological changes. The authors believe that these changes were due to abnormal activity of the esophagus caused by disturbances in the innervation system of the organ.
