耳鼻咽喉科粘膜疾患に対する矢追抗原使用経験

　I．緒言

　矢追秀武博士により創案され，市販された矢追抗原（PVL-Yaoi）はその薬名の通り一種の抗原としての働きを利用する。その抗原となるものは牛痘ウイルスでありその投与により生体に何らかの抗疾病性の抗体の産出を期待するものと考えられる。抗生物質および副腎ホルモン，自律神経遮断剤等すぐれた薬剤の出現で細菌性疾患，炎症性疾患の治療効果には驚くべきものが認められる今日，尚，皮膚粘膜に所見を認める疾患群に対しては，すぐれた治療方法が少ない。

　耳鼻咽喉科領域においては，口腔，鼻咽腔中耳腔の粘膜に所見を有する疾患が大多数であり，従つて肉眼的に所見を確認する事が出来，また標本作成も容易であるに拘らずその根源的病因の不明の場合が少なくない。

In the therapy of treatment-resisting dis-eases of the ear, nose and throat such as all-ergic rhinitis, chronic rhinitis, chronic puru-lent maxillary sinusitis, epipharyngitis, chronic otitis media and aphthos stomatitis, Yayoi antigen PVL-Yayoi was employed with favorable results.

In the total number of 19 cases of above named conditions Yaoi antigen proved to be highly effective in 4 cases, alleviated the symptoms in 8 cases but, appeared to be inef-fective in 7. There was no side effect in the use of this agent.
