上顎埋伏歯に起因する鼻茸の1症例

　I．緒言

　標準出齦期を過ぎても尚且，口腔内に歯冠の一部或は全部を現わさない歯牙の発生異常を埋伏歯と呼ぶ。歯科，耳鼻咽喉科領域に於ては歯槽骨内埋伏例の報告は幾多あるが，位置異常埋伏例は余り報告されていない。最近上顎犬歯窩内埋伏歯に起因した，肉芽性鼻茸の成因の究明に困惑を来たした1例に相遇したので茲に報告する。

　Nasal polyp causing a complaint of nasal obstruction and swelling of the left cheek in a woman, aged 43, was found to be the product of irritation arising from an unerupted supranumerary canine teeth. The diagnosis of this condition was reached after radical maxillary sinus operation had been performed on the subject.
