大学入試に応用した語音選別検査

　I．緒言

　毎年3月になると大学入試の身体検査が行われる。本学に於ける耳鼻科の不適格の基準は著しい難聴あるものとなつておるのみで明確な基準はないが，学習に障害になる程度の聴力障害という意味である。聴力検査の実状は耳鏡検査のみが行われ，鼓膜に異常が認められ，難聴の疑いのあるものに対しても精密な検査は行われなかつた。著者らは入学者の聴力検査の精密を期する目的の他に小学校の就学時身体検査に行なつたaudiometerによる選別検査と比較する意味もあつて，語音による選別検査を行なつてみた。その結果はこの方法も聴力の選別検査に供し得ることが明らかになつたから，その経験を報告する。

Speech audiometer was used in detecting a high degree loss of hearing among the candi-dates of college-entrance examination. Word-sounds were produced at 40db in strength. Persons who failed in this test by loss of hearing or numerous errors in the response were tested separately with better test faci-lities. The time required for testing each in-dividual was from 42 to 48 seconds.
