外耳道異物の臨床的観察

　I．緒言

　人間の外耳道は他の動物のように耳翼の運動や下垂による閉鎖や毛の密生による異物侵入の防禦が出来ないため，比較的容易に異物が入る。また耳の位置は丁度手が容易にとどく範囲にあるため，自分自身で異物を外耳道に挿入する事も容易である。そのためか最近しばしばその症例に遭遇する機会があつたので，これを臨床統計的に観察し一知見を得たので報告する。

Ohhashi reports 45 cases of foreign body of ear seen at the town-hospital of Tanabu, Aomori prefecture since November, 1954 to February, 1958. Foreign body due to intru-sion of various insects formed the majority of cases : many cases were accompnied by aural dermal affections due to the lack of proper attention of the foreign body.
