項部膿瘍に続発した咽後膿瘍の1例

　I．緒言

　咽後膿瘍に関する報告は，既に相当多くそれの示す多様な型もほぼ出盡した感があるが，私達は最近項部膿瘍で始まり，更に気管支肺炎を併発して，診断に困難であつた咽後膿瘍に遭遇したのでここに報告し，若干の考察を加えてみたい。

An infant 7 months of age developed lary-ngeal abcess in connection to multiple supe-rficial abcesses that occurred in the posterior cervical region. The diagnosis of the for-mer was met with a considerable difficulty. The treatment consisted of tracheotomy and drainage of the laryngeal abcess with use ofantibiotics in adequate amounts. The patient made an uneventful recovery.
