竹笛による興味ある口蓋扁桃損傷例

　Ⅰ．緒言

　耳鼻咽喉科領域，或は口腔外科領域において，外傷性口蓋咽頭損傷については，種々の症例報告統計的観察が行われているが，口蓋扁桃の機械的に挫創乃至は裂創を蒙る場合は極めて稀に遭遇するものであつて，僅に，1928Mazzarella. Ghrardoの口蓋扁桃損傷の2例，1935年Diehlの口蓋扁桃上半部損傷の2例，昭和16年牟田の口蓋扁桃上部損傷の1例，及び昭和18年佐藤の口蓋扁桃裂傷の1例の報告を見るのみである。私は最近竹笛により扁桃摘出様の状態となつた口蓋扁桃損傷例を経験したので，その概要を報告しようと思う。

　imamura reports a case of fauciai trauma caused by a dull object which practically resulted in partial enucleation of the tonsil. For treatment of this condition an immediate tonsillectomy had been performed with favorable results. A male child, aged 2 years and 7 months, while holding a bamboo whistle in his mouth accidently took a fall and the end of that bamboo stick pierced the tonsillar region to cause this traumatic injury.
