皮下気管損傷の2症例

　緒言

　戦時において火器による損傷又は法医学の対象となる外傷の場合は別として，不慮の外傷による喉頭又は気管の外傷は比較的稀なものであつて，災害医学の方面でも報告例はあまり多くない様であり，又外傷患者の多数を取扱つている当病院外科においても嘗てまだ1例の経験すら持合わしていない。而も喉頭又は気管の損傷で普通に経験するものは頸部の創面と交通をもつ開放性のものであるが，皮下損傷という例は極めて稀なものであつて本邦耳鼻科領域においては現在迄僅かに11例を渉猟するに過ぎない。我々も最近外傷によつて惹起された皮下気管損傷の2症例に遭遇したのでその大要を報告するが，その中の1例は気管全断を来した興味あるものである。

Fukamachi and associates report two cases of sub-epithelial traumatic injury of trachea. The first case is a man, aged 32, a miner by occupation, whose neck was caught between a heavy wooden door and a concrete wall, whe-reby the trachea was completely amputated beneath the intact skin of the neck. To relieve the severe dyspnea the patient suffered tra-cheotomy was performed: the site of amputation was between the 6th and 7th ring. The second case is woman. aged 31, who by tripping fell on a water-forcet and struck her neck against it. The cause of dyspnea suffered by the patient proved to be traumatic edema of the trachea brought on by that contuoisn.
