オージオメーターが普及して来てから,音叉は一般に軽視される傾向にある様だが,聴力検査に於ける音叉の正当な価値は再認識されねばならぬと思う。殊に骨導検査では,現在オーヂオメーター附属骨導子の上音の発生,感度の不安定に悩まされる事が少くない。音叉は骨導振動子として優れた点を持つており,従来も種々の骨導検査に使用されて来ているが,骨導の量的測定に音叉を使用し,具体的な測定方法と成績を報告した者は少い様である。こゝに私の実施した測定法と,その成績を報告し御批判を仰ぎ度いと思う。
Takeuchi proposes a method by which tuning forks may be used for making quantitative measurements of hearing tests through bone conduction. Records of tests on 50 normal ears and on 25 of that impaired hearing are taken first by audiometer and then, by tuning forks. The results of these tests as obtained by one means are compared to those that are obtained by other and the relation between the two is thereby, established. The author con-cludes that the tuning fork test for this pur-pose is equally efficient as that taken by means of audiometer but the range with which the former may be applied appears to be definitely limited.
