HINOSHITA and FUKUDA call attention to mass poisoning that occurred by handling a shipment of insecticide, Horidol.

In August, 1954, at a certain National Railway Station 24 individuals were simultaneously affected with occipital headache and irritation of upper air passage. Because of an early recognition of the malady, institution of treatments the patients recovered uneventfully.

The author state that, there is no need of making rules and regulations that govern shipm-ent of poisonous stuff more stringent than as it is on the part of the National Railway but, a due instructions for precaution to the empl-oyees are necessary for handling such materials.
