8アザグアニンの使用経験

　緒言

　悪性腫瘍の化学療法も他の疾患に対する化学療法と共に次第に進歩普及し，ナイトロミン，ウレタン等に次ぎ最近ではザルコマイシン，8アザグアニン等が次第に普及され様としている。この中1945年Roblinが始めて合成し，1949年Kidderがその制癌作用に就いて報告した8アザグアニンは，最近我国に於て市販され，既に他科領域に於ては山元，砂田，芝，山瀨，坂本等の報告がなされている。我耳鼻科領域に於ても広く使用されていることと思われるが未だその報告例に接しないので，例数は8例で甚だ少いが諸賢の御参考になる点もあるかと考え，その使用経験を敢て報告する次第である。

Sendo reports that, for treatment of maliga-nancies occurring in the maxillary sinus, espe-cially sarcoma, the use of 8-Azaguanin is met with favorable results. Its use towards carci-noma in 2 cases that had been employed the effect is questionable. The agent, however, seems to cause a considerable side-effect with gasto-intestinal upsets, but when compared to that with use of nitromin such symptoms app-eared to be far less disturbing.
