肺結核症の気管支鏡検査成績

　序言

　直達科学の進歩は軌近著しきものがあり，異物摘出の他，肺-気管支結核症の療法は勿論，診断上にも重大なる意義を有するに至つている。

　此等結核症に対しては既に諸氏の報告を見るが，余等も肺結核症に対して気管支鏡検査を施行し，聊か得たる成績を報告し，諸彦の御批判を懇わんとするものである。

　ICHIHARA and associates make bronchoscopicexamination in 150 cases of lung tuberculosis. The following is there results: In 42 cases, 28%, the examination proved to be negative; in 32 cases, 21.4%, Type Ⅰ bronchial involvement is found; in 28 cases, 18.6%, Type Ⅱ; in 36 cases, 24%, Type Ⅲ; in 12 cases, 8%, Type Ⅳ. The patients with cavity formation had a greater tendency to show bronchial involvements than as not ; so likewise ofthose whose sputum to be positive for tubercle bacilli and whose progress of the disease to be protracted for a considerable piriod since its onset. The site of involvement is found to be in the main brochi particular at the outlet of the upper lobe bronchus. Such invelvements showed improvements with institution of surgical treatment of the chest.
